Van Gogh Evening Twilight Ochre Cotton Sateen Quilt Cover Set Queen
Description
Description
This print was based on the painting Landscape at Twilight. Van Gogh painted this twilight landscape in the fields near Auvers, with a view of the local castle. He painted the pear trees in the foreground using a flurry of black brushstrokes, thereby intensifying the contrast between the dark trees and the luminous yellow sky. Because of its wide format, the painting resembles a panorama. It is one metre wide and 50 centimetres high. From June 1890 onwards, Van Gogh made a total of thirteen works with these dimensions. All but one are landscapes. He cut the canvases himself from a large roll.
Beddinghouse is committed to designing beautiful collections with respect for people and the planet. Beddinghouse therefore participates in the Better Cotton Initiative, which aims to improve cotton cultivation worldwide. We have developed luxurious and sustainable packaging specially for the Beddinghouse x Van Gogh Museum collection. You can reuse the box for storage. The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton sateen, 220 TC with a plain yellow green at the back. The duvet cover has a chic sheen and the sateen weave makes it feel very smooth. More threads are used for a sateen weave and the material is woven much tighter. Cotton sateen is made of 100% high quality breathable cotton and is moisture-absorbent. The duvet cover can be washed at a temperature of up to 60 degrees, is suitable for the tumble dryer and can be ironed. Comes in ochre, yellow, green, blue, and orange colour tones.
