Basketball hoops for kids and for small spaces. The Everfit range is door and wall-mounted mini hoops, one of them with an LED scoreboard, plus a ball-return attachment. The Keezi range is free-standing kids' play sets that pair a hoop with a soccer goal, golf or ring toss.

How to choose a basketball hoop

For a door or wall. The Everfit 23" hoops list a 45x30cm shatterproof PET backboard, a 24cm steel spring-loaded ring and a nylon net. The LED scoreboard hoop lists a 40x30cm backboard, a 24cm rim, protective strips to prevent door damage and two scoring modes. The Everfit 38" hoop lists a 71x45cm HDPE backboard and a 41cm ring.

For young children on a stand. The Keezi sets are free-standing play centres listed for ages 3 to 7, apart from the ring toss set, which is listed for ages 3 and above. Several list adding water to the base for stability, and the 5-in-1 sets list an adjustable height of 58cm to 95cm.

For solo shooting practice. The Everfit rebounder is an attachment, not a hoop. It is listed as fixing to a 38cm or 45cm rim and returning the ball through a 360° return system.

What ages are the Keezi sets for?

The 3-in-1 and 5-in-1 sets are listed for ages 3 to 7, and the ring toss set for ages 3 and above. Check the product page for the contents and size of the set you are looking at.

Do the hoops come with a ball?

The Everfit 23" hoops list a mini basketball and a mini pump, and the scoreboard hoop lists four mini balls and an inflator. The Keezi 3-in-1 lists a basketball, soccer ball, golf ball, golf club and pump. The 5-in-1 sets list a basketball, football, golf ball, golf club, three rings, a music box and an air pump. The 38" hoop package lists the hoop and a manual.

    Can the height be adjusted?

The Keezi 5-in-1 sets list an adjustable height of 58cm to 95cm. The Everfit hoops mount to a door or wall, so the height depends on where you fit them.

What does the rebounder return system do?

It is an attachment that fixes to a 38cm or 45cm rim and returns the ball through a 360° return system. The listing says it suits shooting and dribbling drills, and that assembly is required.

Other sports on the site: pickleball paddles and nets, plus tennis rackets and bags.

For indoor play to go with the hoops, kids toys and play sets lists pretend play sets, magnetic tiles, ride-on diggers and craft kits.
