Home Espresso & Capsule Coffee Machines

Espresso and capsule coffee machines for a home kitchen bench. The range covers 20 bar pump espresso machines from Devanti and Pronti, capsule machines from Dolphy and Pronti HomeMaid, and three Pronti breakfast sets that pair a coffee machine with a matching 1.7 litre kettle and 4-slice toaster.

How to choose a home coffee machine

Pump espresso or capsule. A pump espresso machine brews ground coffee in a portafilter, so you choose the beans and the grind, and the Devanti and Pronti pump machines here can froth milk. A capsule machine brews from pods, so there is no grinding or tamping. The Dolphy takes Nespresso-compatible capsules and brews Espresso or Lungo; the Pronti HomeMaid comes with three adapters, for Nespresso pods, Caffitaly pods and ground coffee.

Pressure and tank size. The Devanti and Pronti pump machines list a 20 bar pump, and the Dolphy and the HomeMaid list 19 bar. Tank sizes: 600ml on the Pronti HomeMaid, 0.8 litres on the Dolphy, 0.9 litres on the Devanti CM-01, CM-03 and black models, 1.2 litres on the Devanti CM-06, and a 1250mL capacity on the Pronti CM-850D. A bigger tank means fewer refills when several people share one machine.

A full breakfast set. Three Pronti breakfast sets add a 1.7 litre kettle and a 4-slice toaster to a coffee machine: a 20 bar espresso machine in the rose gold set and in one Silver Noir set, and the HomeMaid 3-in-1 capsule machine in the other Silver Noir set.
