    Automatic Air Freshener Dispensers
    View as

    Top picks for you

An automatic aerosol dispenser holds a 300ml air freshener can and sprays it for you at set intervals, so a washroom or office keeps a steady fragrance without anyone pressing a button. There are two on this page: the Dolphy LED model, which mounts on a wall or stands on its own and runs on two AA batteries, and the PLAZA model, which is wall mounted only and runs on two D batteries. Both have day, night and 24-hour modes. Refill cans and batteries are not included.

How to choose between the two

The choice comes down to mounting, batteries and spray timing. The Dolphy model is a free-standing unit that can also be wall mounted, and it has a light sensor that adjusts its spray mode. The PLAZA is wall mounted only and sprays every 5, 15 or 25 minutes. The Dolphy sprays every 7.5, 15 or 22.5 minutes. Check the battery type before you order, because the two models take different sizes.

    Frequently asked questions

What refill does an automatic aerosol dispenser take?

Both listings take a standard 300ml aerosol refill can, sold separately. The Dolphy listing gives a maximum refill length of 14.5cm, so check the can height before you buy.

    What batteries does it use?

The Dolphy LED dispenser works on two AA batteries and the PLAZA works on two D-size batteries. Batteries are not included with either.

    How often does it spray?

You pick an interval. The PLAZA lists 5, 15 or 25 minutes, and the Dolphy lists 7.5, 15 or 22.5 minutes. Both also have day, night and 24-hour operation modes.

Can I stand it on a shelf instead of mounting it?

The Dolphy listing says it is free standing and can also be wall mounted. The PLAZA is listed as wall mounted.

    Is a refill can included?

No. The 300ml refill can is listed as not included on both, and so are the batteries.
