    Top picks for you

Thermal paper prints with heat instead of ink or toner, so it only works in a thermal printer. This page has thermal paper in three formats: 80 x 80 mm receipt rolls for cash registers, EFTPOS and POS printers, Tooleroo A4 sheets (plain thermal paper and tattoo stencil paper), and Social Hike paper rolls for instant print cameras and mini thermal printers.

    How to choose thermal paper

Match the printer first. The 80 x 80 mm rolls here are listed for cash registers and receipt printers. The Tooleroo A4 sheets are for an A4 thermal printer. The Social Hike refill rolls are listed for mini thermal printers and instant print cameras.

Roll length and pack size. The 5x Thermal Paper Rolls 80x80mm pack lists a roll length of 47.5m, and so does the 10x pack. The 50 Rolls 80X80mm pack lists 60 GSM double-coated paper. A larger pack means fewer reorders at a busy counter.

Plain, sticker or colour. Social Hike camera refills come in three packs. The Sticker 5 pack prints stickers and labels. The Colour 3 pack has coloured rolls. The plain 5 pack is listed for photos, labels and creative projects.

Tattoo stencils. The Tooleroo tattoo thermal paper is a 50 sheet A4 pack with a 4-layer construction for stencil transfer.
