    Rice Cookers & Steamers

    View as

This is a small range: two Devanti 3L (6-cup) rice cookers. One has a top steamer tray and an automatic 8-hour keep-warm. The other is an 8-in-1 multi cooker with 1000Pa micro-pressure, preset menus and a 24-hour timer. Both are listed as suitable for 2 to 4 people. If you need a larger rice cooker for a big household or a commercial kitchen, this page does not have one.

How to choose between the two

The capacity and power are the same, so the choice is about controls. The steamer model has a single one-touch switch, a spherical ceramic-glazed inner pot and a steamer tray above it, so rice cooks below while vegetables, seafood or dim sum steam above. The 8-in-1 model has push-button presets, including white rice, multigrain, porridge and steaming, a 24-hour delay timer, a hidden LED touch screen and an 800g enamel iron inner pot. Another benchtop kitchen machine is the electric meat slicer, and more are on the kitchen appliances page.
