Sheets & Sheet Sets

Bed sheets and sheet sets, including cotton, Egyptian cotton, bamboo and bamboo-cotton blends, microfibre, polyester flannelette and linen. Sets come as a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and pillowcases, or as fitted sheet combo sets with no flat sheet.

How to choose bed sheets

Know your mattress depth. Many fitted sheets here list a 40cm wall, and the mega sizes and some super king listings list a 50cm wall. The Bianca Heston set lists a 40cm wall, 50cm for super king, and the Shoppers Home deep-pocket fitted sheets list mattresses up to 16 inch / 40cm thick. Measure the mattress before choosing.

Check what is in the set. A sheet set lists a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and pillowcases. The Bianca Heston and Ramesses listings give one pillowcase for the smaller sizes and two for the larger ones.

Pick a fabric and weave. Bianca Heston is a 300TC cotton percale and Kingtex lists a 250TC 100% cotton percale. Ramesses lists a 1500TC Egyptian cotton sateen combo set and 2000TC bamboo blend embossed combo sets, and Accessorize lists 400TC sheets of 60% bamboo and 40% cotton. Shoppers Home lists a 1000TC Egyptian cotton set. For colder months, examples include the Kingtex Micro Flannelette sets, listed as polyester at approx 140GSM, and the Vintage Design Homewares French Linen set, listed as 100% linen.

Narrow it down. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, cotton sheets, bamboo sheets, microfibre sheets and sheets of 1000TC and above have pages of their own. Matching pillows and pillowcases, and quilt cover sets, are on their own pages.
