A quilt cover set (also called a doona cover or duvet cover set) is a cover for your quilt plus matching pillowcases. This page has quilt cover sets from PIP Studio, Bedding House, Riviera Maison, Giselle Bedding, LinenCart, Accessorize, Bianca, Orient Sense and other brands, in fabrics including cotton, cotton sateen, cotton percale, microfibre, polyester and polyester cotton blends, from single to super king.

How to choose a quilt cover set

Size the cover to the quilt. Buy the cover to fit your quilt rather than the bed. Check the quilt cover measurement in the listing. The PIP Studio Japonica listing gives Queen 210cm x 210cm, King 245cm x 210cm and Super King 270cm x 240cm. The LinenCart listing adds Single 140 x 210 cm and Double 180 x 210 cm.

Pick the fabric. The Bedding House Van Gogh sets are cotton sateen, a weave that gives a smooth surface with a slight sheen. The PIP Studio Japonica and Origami Tree sets are 100% percale cotton with a 200TC weave. The Pani Charcoal Reversible set is 100% cotton at 300TC. The Giselle Bedding Classic and Diamond Pinch sets are 100% microfibre. The LinenCart sets are 1000TC brushed microfibre. The Accessorize Seersucker sets are polyester, and the Jason Hudson Stripe set is 50% polyester, 50% cotton.

Count the pieces. The PIP Studio Japonica set includes 1 quilt cover and 2 standard pillowcases (48cm x 73cm). The Anne Stokes Oriental Skull single set has one pillowcase. The LinenCart single set comes with 1 pillowcase and its double, queen, king and super king sets with 2.

    Frequently asked questions

What size quilt cover fits a queen bed?

The PIP Studio Japonica listing gives the queen size as 210cm x 210cm. Measure your quilt as well, because a cover should fit the quilt rather than the mattress.

What is the difference between cotton sateen and percale?

Both are cotton weaves. Sateen puts more thread on the surface for a smooth feel and slight sheen, as on the Bedding House Van Gogh sets. Percale is a plain weave with a crisp feel, as on the PIP Studio Japonica set.

How many pillowcases come with a quilt cover set?

The PIP Studio Japonica set includes 2 standard pillowcases. The LinenCart single set includes 1 pillowcase and its larger sizes 2. Check the set contents in the listing.

What does 1000TC brushed microfibre mean?

The LinenCart 1000TC Brushed Microfibre sets list 1000TC brushed microfibre at 90 GSM. They have a button closure along the bottom edge and four internal corner ties.

Where are super king and queen quilt covers?

Super king sets have a page of their own: super king quilt covers. Queen size sets are on queen quilt covers.
