    Top picks for you

Kitchen mixer taps from Cefito and Shoppers Home in chrome and matte black. There are two styles: swivel gooseneck mixers in round, square, rectangle and long spout shapes, and pull-out or pull-down mixers with a pull-out spray. Every listing gives a 35mm (3.5cm) tap hole, and every tap lists brass and 304 stainless steel.

How to choose a kitchen mixer

Start with the tap hole. Every listing gives a 35mm (3.5cm) hole, and the listings that state a range say 35mm to 38mm. Then choose the spout. The round, square, rectangle and long spout mixers are swivel gooseneck taps, while the pull-out and pull-down models have a pull-out spray, and several list stream and spray. Check the WELS rating last, where the listing gives one: the Cefito pull-out round models list 5 stars at 6L/min, the pull-down in chrome 5 stars at 5.5L/M, the pull-out 2 mode in black 5 stars at 5L/M and the rectangle in black 4 stars at 7L/M.
