    What GSM changes

    GSM is the weight of the cotton per square metre and it decides how a washer behaves rather than how good it is. A lighter 500 GSM cloth wets out and dries fast, which is why it suits a guest bathroom or a gym bag. A 600 to 650 GSM washer holds more water and feels denser on the face, and takes correspondingly longer on the line. Buy in multiples of six if they are in daily use, because a washer wants washing after every second day.

    The larger bathroom textiles are under bath towels and robes, and bathrobes covers the waffle, terry and velour robes.
