    Buying the insert one size up

    This is the single thing that separates a cushion that looks styled from one that looks tired. A 45cm insert in a 45cm cover leaves slack corners. Put a 50cm insert in a 45cm cover and it fills out, holds its shape and stands up on a sofa instead of folding over.
