The Pope Air Release Valve is an essential irrigation component designed to ensure the smooth operation of your drip system . By allowing clean air to enter during startup and venting excess air, this valve prevents air pockets and suck back , which can cause dripper blockages or drip line collapse . Featuring a 1/2-inch BSP male thread , it is best placed at the highest point of the irrigation system to stop debris from entering when the system shuts down.
